On June 8th, 2011, a group of approximately 20 students
from Middle School 13 / Central Park Eastwill be visiting Archcare at Terence
Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center, a 729 bed Multi-specialty skilled nursing
facility located in East Harlem, NYfor our“Don’t Get It Twisted” Program.
As part of the program the students will meet
and engage in a panel discussion / rap session with some of our Adult and
Senior Adult HIV/AIDS positive residents who willshare their experience, strength, and hope
regarding HIV/AIDS, addiction and recovery with the students as a means to
encourage and inspire the students to make healthy lifestyle choices.

Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center has been delivering the “Don’t Get It
Twisted” Program to Middle
Schools Students in East Harlem since 2008.
As part of the above mentioned program,
the 6th National Caribbean-American HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
(NCAHAAD) will be recognized.
